This week's ingredient




This week's ingredient is coconut oil.  I use it daily.  Don't worry, it doesn't taste like coconut.  Here are the qualities I look for:  virgin, unrefined and cold-pressed.  All that to say very little processing.  You can purchase the one pictured above at Aldis.  Most stores have coconut oil in their cooking oil aisles.

Friday, I will give you a breakfast/dessert recipe that I cook often using this ingredient!
